Because the Z will take any power you throw to it if its clean power, and if you have to ask about a Z you shouldnt own 1, and if your did want to run a 99z woofer I would say 6k-10k is going to be DUMB loud, may work off less.....I already answered your question in my above post but I will say it again....

The 95 serious goes for around 600$ it really depends on if you have a local dealer, competitor pricing, direct ordering from DD because you have no local dealer..

95 is the model number 10-15 is the size so 9510 would be a 10inch 9512 would be a 12 inch 9515 would be a 15 inch, lastly if you want to talk score I did a 146.3 with 2k on a audioque HD312......Lowest score with that sub by the way. The aq is basically a 95 series DD woofer come from the same build house, same box everything the owner of DD is the Son of the owner of AQ

i just moved to where i am, so ill have to go around to all the dealers and see if i can get one from them. you think that is a better choice then the 15" XXX??

Yes that was a single 10 that I did that with...In my CRX with a single DD 2510 I've had it up in the 147's playing around with about 1000 watts...But that was an SPL setup...and only a burp...so it wasn't playing music for 30secs....When I ran SPL a few years ago I did take a single DD 9515 and did a 150.6 at a USACi show....

You can go to the DD website and find a DD dealer that way it would save you time and be alot easier, yea I noticed that on a 9518 should be a nasty woofer, Aq is coming out with an 18 as well and from what I read off the DD forum there is a new line of Aq coming as well, we shall see what the upcoming months unveil for us

Nobody can tell you if an XXX is louder or the DD is louder that simple, its impossible for us to say the DD will be louder for you, it has TO many variables to decipher to really be accurate, either should work, more install dependent then anything and that volunteer audio place is the closest DD dealer to you being 25miles away.

PM flakko for futher details. The amp I got had a sticker that said made in the usa if that gives you any indication....

I live in Murfreesboro.

My goal is 139.9 with two 8s. I bought an amp from LA_Crx. I will have to get another m1a for adequate power.

139.9 = bass race = 30 second avg on music.

However, I think 140 burp; 129.9 avg on music is a much more achievable goal.
