yeah, i was shooting for a single 15" i was trying to just keep it to a nasty single sub. and then mount my amp ontop of the box, and slam the batterys under it or on the side/back somwhere. i looked into DD's but idk.... how are they? are they really that good?

If price isnt an issue yea DD is a good choice as well, but you would need more power to get where you want to go.....

Im talkin 99 series from DD so yes I think you would need more power for competition use, daily No, never heard a BTL talk with shawn flemming he is the man on FI products.

what is the price on one of those things??? i have heard good things about DD, but never seen one before......... so it would be me taking your word on it.

that would be the one your after the 9515, as far as I know they dont MAKE 99s as of right now, but you can take your 95 and upgrade it, but I may be wrong, and I am sure if you called jass he would build you a 99 as well, just not a production sub currently. I dont think that 3515 would handle the power daily, on a burp yes, even 30 second run, but I dont think it would like it at all, the 35 I believe goes in the 300$ range, the 95 goes in the 600$ range dunno bought the MSRP on 99s

with a single DD 9510 I did a 143.1 street beat 30 sec average at the last show I went too...It started out at 143.6 i was running 1300 watts...this was a trunk car not a hatchback and on the term lab meter......This was also a throw in install done the day before as well...so no real tuning or adjusting....Just to give you an idea of the potential of a single DD sub.....

Z's are very expensive...I have a pair...The retail on mine were $5000 a sub...I think the newer series is a little cheaper now...

with my BTL on 2400wrms I hit 144. I just built a new box for it which is def louder then the older box. So the BTL could work for you. Also tho if price isn't an issue look into TC 5200 and 5400. If you get a BTL tho you will not be dissapointed.

Because the Z will take any power you throw to it if its clean power, and if you have to ask about a Z you shouldnt own 1, and if your did want to run a 99z woofer I would say 6k-10k is going to be DUMB loud, may work off less.....I already answered your question in my above post but I will say it again....

The 95 serious goes for around 600$ it really depends on if you have a local dealer, competitor pricing, direct ordering from DD because you have no local dealer...
