Ummm....if you'd have a look at Marley's posting signature you'd realize exactly how assinine that question made you look.Sounds like someone has a crush(r u gay) cuz im not into that shit...And ur an idiot...U backed up my point if u could read u would see that.. stock yeah very close, an evo with 5 gs into the motor might be able to run 11's i dont know about with the few items u mentioned though..I think there would be alot more evos in the 11's if this was so..., but it will be def low 12's a jeep with 5g's into the engine my friend will also be low, maybe low to mid 12's(u will see when more are around)...so its a pretty even comparison u ****in shmuck.
And as to that domestic ricer comment, what are u gonna beat me, in? a IROC camaro, that u all ur buddies have...yeah right..
Dude, weak.
So, you just want a light, less-torquish motor(even though its DOHC)?
I just don't see why you wouldnt upgrade to better block. Or is this a budget build?
up with what?Chevy needs big blocks to keep up haha. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif
No budget build, the block is stronger than bout any block you can find. Iron block with a main on it. the engine itself will hold well over 1500 to the wheels. Its just nice to put the pushrod guys in there place hehe. I can do more with small CI. Ls1 isn't a bb. Ls7 isnt either.
Either way, I still love the monster torque from a BB. I hope to have a nice 600cu engine in a car I own one day.
True. I love the sound of low disp. DOHC V8's.I'm a huge fan of big blocks and huge torque, but there's something about winding my car up and hearing it run along at 7500RPM that I just love. And the small displacement Indy car and Formula One engines, man, I love to hear those suckers scream along at 15K!
Best day ever, Detroit Grand Prix, then a trip to Joliet to watch the Fuelers! Man, there's not a bad seat in that place.
