Actually i have full Kenny Brown suspension and lower my boost when I go to road Atlanta and play. If the Nova wants to play let me know. Im fixing to put a Boss 330 in it with head work done by AL out of boss330racing.com i think thats his site. Complete N/A 330, 97 cobra he has runs low 10's in 1/4. Im going to put my twins on there and let her ride. So what does he wanna run? track, street, roll, stop, 1/4, mile ... For the right amount ill trailer my shit there. Where does he live? Also im building a blown 427 Cobra Jet for my buddies dad. So ask him which Ford does he wanna get beat by. A 69 mach 1, or a 04 mach 1..

He's in CA. So unless there is multiple thousands of dollars involved, no one is going to race.

However, there are some trying to convince him to take it to drag week.

On that note- the nova is a 355 w/ nitrous and runs 9.5's. Theyve driven it to tahoe and back and its been fine.

More than likely the EVO 9 wouldnt need any mods to defeat that thing.......at most, a flash would be enough

edit: dont know if i told you, but you know how we buy and sell the porsches, we sold that red 993, and now have a lapis blue 996.

best time on nitrous and slicks was 11.3, but i've still got almost entirely stock GTA suspension, and plan on removing the computer and fuel injection, i dont think it will have a problem breaking 10's if i can make it hook better and get a good carb setup. it runs ~12.6 on the motor. you MIGHT get an evo to 11.3 on 5k, but you still ain't gonna have that nasty RUMP RUMP RUMP at idle //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

well thank you. we tried to get a 996 turbo yesterday at the auction, but it didnt sell for the second auction in a row. it was an 04, silver, i think. we were also trying to get a 04 cabrio. porsches are my dads thing, i just drive them. he buys and sells as a hobby, its something he enjoys. he came from nothing (projects) and always wanted a porsche, and just now he has had time to play with them. i know the value of a dollar, especially since i bought my own truck in full brand new last year. everything is the way i want it, i had help on the lift, well more like an enormous discount, and the system i had help with from a very cool guy that owns a shop.

oh, and if i was up against a 06 vette, i would try that too. i was next to a acura rsx (?) and a 03 mustang GT at the light yesterday night, and they took off, but it wasnt even worth my time.

Spend 5k extra on an evo IX and 11.3 should be no problem.....my cammed EVO had a nice lumpy idle, but not the orgasmic sound of a cammed V8!

where exactly is the track at that you're seeing these jeeps run 13 second 1/4's??... b/c i want to be there to see it myself.. i don't believe they are that fast... but that's just my opinion i guess.. i have not seen them run in person... but i do know that single cab hemi trucks are only pulling low 16's high 15's stock in the 1/4 and they have a nice diff in them that hooks up and this is at thunder valley in oklahoma

power to weight ratio has a lot more to do with 1/4 mile times than the axle ratio, if thats what you mean by differential.
