What box and subs for a 2010 Ford F-150 Lariat

I have a 2010 Ford F-150 Lariat and want to put two 10" subwoofers under the back seat. What box and subwoofers would you recommend? Budget is ~$300 for both subwoofers and ~$150 for the box.

Are American Bass shallow mount subwoofers any good?

if u need shallow mount subs skar vd's aren't bad and really cheap.. i'll let other answer about the ab subs.. what amp will u use?

Skar VD looks very similar to American Bass. My friend has had an American Bass 12" for a few years now and it's very good.

As for an amp, I'm not sure yet on how I'll go about doing that. Do you recommend I use two amps or run both off a single amp? I only need about 1000 watts total.

so u are planning to power door speakers with an amp? then it depend on what subs u end up with so u know how much power u will need for them then u can see if a 5 channel amp is right for u #1 how much u wanta spend on power? my ppi p1k is great amp for 2 10" subs they $166 amazon lots of peeps have them or they full range versions on mids (1 guy has 4) but really just depends on what u wanta spend after u figure out what subs u want.. other will give recommendations too just wait a while..

really nice under seat boxes. dont go with the cheap china ebay fleamart boxes.

I would do a full size 8" sub, and even some 6.5" subs before I ever resorted to shallow mount subs. I guess I've just never been impressed by any shallows.

i was gonna say sundown e bstock but didn't know if the fit box.. the bstocks are new subs and are fine everyone buys them

I have 2 sundown sd-2 10s for sale. There like new, I bought them and they didnt work for my application. They do have a scuff on one surround, but other than that there in pristine condition

I have had good experiences with the skar vd. I would run them if I needed smaller mounting depths again

Sundown Ev3 or SD line would be my choice, if you can fit some decent 8'S ported I'd go sundown sa8's or massive audio hippo 8's if ur on a budget.You can also raise those seats by a couple inches to gain volume on the boxes.
