What size box and tune should I build for American Bass XO 12s. Either I'm reading it wrong or it doesn't give a cubic ft spec.

Specs:

Voice coil dia. 50.8/2

Impedance ohm dual 4

FS Hz 37.5

Qms 5.5

Qes 0.5

Qts 0.58

Vas 44.5

MMS g 124.1

Xmax mm/in 11/0.43

SPL dB/m 88

BL TES A-1 17.2

Max power 600w

RMS 400w

I can design you a box if you want.

Most 12" AB woofers will work in 2-2.5 cubes. Even 1.75 for applications like a series 6th order, depending on power levels.

Tune anywhere from 32-35 hz. I like a little lower tuning like 32 hz. Port area depends, I'd have to model it up. Wouldn't need a lot with only 400w power rating.

Yea any help would be great. I couldn't find much online about box size. And I've seen all kinds of reasons for different tune specs. I'm running a skar 800.1 on them and they are in a hatchback. They sound good in the prefab box I have but I want to go ahead and build a custom box.
