Go download some test tones and find out where you weak spots are.. grab a 60,80,120,160,200,250,300,400 tone all recorded at the same volume and play each one, not super loud, but you can hear that way which notes your missing, it makes it easier to judge.
Anyway if it IS upper midbass, 250ishhz, those faital pro should be a great value. If your amp puts out 250 watts at 2ohms, your only giving them 125 per speaker, the faitals will handle that no problem. Powerhandling is NOT a major key to output when it comes to mids and highs. The difference between the 125 those faitals are rated at and 250 watts, the top end of what you want is only a db or two in real life, not a drastic change. Also those faitals are 3db more effecient, they will get at minimum as loud as the PRV. Since the PRV is likely overrated and has less xmax, odds are the PRV would be quieter, even if you put 125 on the faital's and 225 on the PRV.
