what are good 8" mid-bass speakers.

ya i know, it no big deal...

i have a welder/grinder with them i can make/ brace anything...

at this point with going with 4 per door im going to make some door panels.

i plan on bracing the inside of the doors,, making some panels to cover up all the holes. s.d. inside panel and outside panel.

wrapping all rods.

going to brace the lower edge of the door were im going to mount them.

see thats not the hard part.... its figuring if i should go with the 8ohm version or the 4ohm version lol....

4ohm or 8ohm would depend upon what amp(s) you have to power them and what final ohm load you want.

I run all 8ohm mids, 4 per amp, bridged 2x4ohm. Also have a couple big 2ch amps I run at 2ohm mono with 4 mids on them.

Really makes no difference. Some amps are more prone to thermal protecting at 2ohm if played loud for a long time.

it looks like the 8 ohm version has better specs. so im going to get the 8ohm ones. and wire 2 speakers to 4 ohm to amp.

and if down the road i want to add 4 more ( going to get 4 /two per door ) then ill do 2 ohm per side/channel.

thanks.
