What all will I need to buy?

i'm trying to pre buy everything before I go get it installed to save some money. Never done an install before or even had a system so i'm pretty much clueless.

I'm going to have 2 amps, 1 to power an XXX and one 4 channel power the xxx mids/tweeters.

If it helps at all, its going into an mazda mx-3.

So I take it I just need 2 amp kits? are 4 gauge kits large enough?

Do I need to buy some 0/1 wire? If so approx how much? Seems cheap enough on http://www.weldingsupply.com

i would buy enough 0 gauge to run to the trunk to a distro block then 2 gauge to XXX amp then 4 or 8 gauge to your small amp

what amps are they? 1/0 never hurts, especially if you can get it affordable. If you can get 1/0 and a distro block for the 2 amps

actually haven't chosen amps yet, still in the process of deciding. The small amp will be a 4 channel that does 150 at 2ohms. Other amp will be be mono around 1400-1800 watts, depending what i buy. Big decision is actually do I save some money and go hifonics or not lol.

Never really heard of distro blocks before, by the sounds of it, the 2 amps connect into it from the trunk? Also where would I get one?

So 1/0 going from engine bay to trunk i'll do for sure. This is just plain old wire right? But for the amps I need to get maybe 2, 2 gauge wring kits right?
