what alarm/remote start do you recomend

i am gonna buy a alarm/ remote start and i dont know to much about them. My buddy works at a audio shop and they got prestige alarms so i was looking at the 997n im pretty sure but i was wondering what every 1 else uses or reccoments

im looking to only spend around 220

I've heard prestige products are bulletproof, along with compustars.

personally, I only have a lot of experience with directed products. the viper 5901/5902 are solid units.

791xv goin strong since 04. The responder remotes are expensive. What I suggest is if you go that route, get a regular remote programmed for your alarm to put on your keychain. Leave the responder by your bed if your car is parked outside or get the leather protector for it and carry it with you.
