What about a passive?

I hear a lot of "ported or sealed" questions / comments. What about using a passive? I am a fan of it but I don't hear anything about other people doing it.

A passive what ? Do you mean a passive radiator ? Some subs work great with them, others **** a$$. I havn't installed any myself. But have listened to them before.
