You just can't throw 32 subs in an astrovan and do good numbers.

Honestly you would be better off doing 4 18s in a bandpass.

Bass race he should be fine but what threw me off was porting it. Dont see the need to port it at all.

I highly doubt you could make a decent ported design with 32 12s. It would be better off to run a sealed wall.

and with a shit load of 12's on low power, he can just leave it play all day without worrying about frying one of the subs...

if he did 4 18's or something like that, he would put huge power on them and couldn't just let them play without risking them...
