What 2 15s should I get?

I'm kinda opposed to the 2.5" coil on the sa-15... What do you think of the nvx vcw 15???
american bass XFLs and sundown SA 12s over the VCWs anyday. NVX are sound quality not SPL. The sundowns will eat up every last bit of your 2400 watts... its not a hifonics is it? If it is, it might not even be enough power.

It is a hifonics yes, but it is the cea 2006 certified brx 2400.1 that was on the dyno and hit 3k

On dynamic, which is all I care about because I'm not in any competitions (yet)

I had been looking at the American Bass XFL and they are alright with what I plan to spend. How loud are these compared to the SA-15? (If they have optimal box and power)

no I owned two of those amps they are junk. 1.6k at best. There is no Dyno video of the BRX version only the brz and BRE and they all failed the certified dyno tests which is the important number. Keep in mind those amps are WAAAY superior to the BRX line which is garbage compared to the old brutus lines The newer the hifonics, the closer to boss audio it is. Like a hifonics X14 2200 losing to an audiopipe 1500.1 in every way possible by several db of output, not just a few. Thats in my buddy's explorer.

Two 2400 watt amps supposed to be 4800 right? Those two brx 2400s got stomped by a dc audio 3.5k hands down and got a lot louder and hits deeper bass notes and overall better sound quality in a direct swap. Guess what that DC 3.5k amp passed the dyno certified tests with flying colors. Every amp that passes certified will always get louder on both music and burps than amps only passing dynamic tests but failing certified.

Just know that dynamic RMS is BS ratings. Simple explanation is, your car metering how loud it is while playing music along with clamping for power. You meter much lower, clamps much less power than if you are burping. While your car burping, you have a lot more power and score a lot higher.

However on the dyno people that says you are doing more power on dynamic aka music rather than certified which is a sine wave which is basically a burp. Very contradictory to what its like in the real world settings. There's more in detail on why the dynamic RMS tests is utter BS in regards to how music is made as well but i dont want to get into that.

Best subs for you are the sundown SA 15s. After box rise you will just barely have enough to push them.

Well **** man, I'm 16 and just bought a cea 06 amp I could afford because it was on sale. Lol. I won't be doing any competitions any time soon this is all just for fun.

We all start somewhere

Really imo as long as you get ANY of the woofers mentioned here you will be good to go

None of the woofers mentioned are garbage and all of them will get decently loud

Also save your pennies and soon enough you can jump up to a 5k and 4 15's when the time comes

If you do go to a 5k with 4 any of the choices should take the power fine as well

Just wondering what car and how much room are you willing to give up?

Could always get some x15's like mine from the Sundown Audio yardsale...

you hit the nail on the head man! that has always been the plan when I move to an SUV. Right now I have an 04 Bonneville SLE. Im willing to give up the entire trunk and port through the ski-pass if needed. Max dimensions are 36 wide 38 deep and 17 1/2 tall. inches of course.
