What 15" sub should i get?

I really want to upgrade my 2 12" subs to one 15" decent sub. For the 15" sub i want it in a ported enclosure. For i, i have a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder which it has alot of airspace. E.g like a 4runner airspace.

My budget is average and i am just looking for something decent and well-heard. Not Too LOUD, nor Not To Low.

Also, do you guys know anyone that makes custom ported enclosures for a great deal?

I don't know much about today's market, but I keep hearing alot about the new Alpine Type R-s! I'm sure one of those 15' babies would work greatly for you in a ported box.

Those new Type R's are beasts.

I recommend the 15" SS RL-p ported and tuned to 28-32hz. SS RL-p

I am currently running both my 12's on a Pheonix Gold Titanium 500.4. Yes it sucks because this amp is really made for my speakers but since i have only one amp i powered my subs with it. But if i purchase a 15 with a ported box, then i will either get a mono or 2-channel amp. What do u guys think?
