Also, I've had a heritage series lanzar amp, and it pounded my 2 infinity reference 1232w's very well for what I payed, under $100. I think they make great budget amps.

I like the 1 12 that someone suggested earlier, personally i like single sub setups the best for my listening preferences but you listen to rap hmmm. Type r's would be a good idea, not sure if you want to follow the hype

Alright, well for your budget, if you want to get that amp you showed us, I would look at two Alpine Type R 12's, the model you are looking for is SWR-1242D. Then build / purchase a nice ported box for them, and wire them to the amp in a 4 ohm mono load, and you'll have a nice, loud budget system that will give you the bump you're looking for. The thing is, you'll want a ported box. If you can't make one yourself, I'm sure you could pay someone on these forums to make one for you for relatively cheap.

you could get a 12l7 and like a kx800.2 both refurbed by kicker...for about $300 then spend $100 on a box if ya have to and put the other $50-100 left over and put that with the money for your deck or put it towards some speakers/speaker amp

depends on the subs. for budget I would get a single l7, but thats just me. For around $130 shipped with a kicker warranty...hard to beat. If ya wanna go ported.
