I've been hearing alot of talk about Sig, Springfield, Kimber. Nothing else. Why is this?

Some very good companies, not to mention reliable guns. Sig is one of my favorite companies, and Springfield is nice as well. sweet, i just had two friends that left for boot camp for the marines about a month ago, and i myself would have gone into the armed forces if i didn't get a full ride scholarship to school...

i love sigs... next gun will probably be a sig.... great quality and reliability.... On the otherhand for the springfield questions... Bout 6 months ago i got one of the XD 40's just to have as a side arm when hunting in case i came across anything up close that wasnt nice... anywyas needless to say its already out of commishion.... i gotta take it to the smith and i hope springfield will do somethin about it but i doubt it... most people are loving them... i should of waited for the xd45 but oh well.... springfield is on my shit list right now.... but it was a nice gun for the time it was operational...
