The point is you're talking about making 200k a year in 2020 or 2021. Just finish highschool, figure out where you're going to college, figure out your major, then figure out what you're probably going to change your major to, then get a job. Then come back and tell us what you'll be making when you're 30.

Engineering and Law are two fields that don't come together at all, unless you're a patent attorney.

By the way, 200k in 2020 is not going to be what it is today, at 4-5% inflation per year, and the declining dollar.

And i guess you're pretty smart if you think high school is hard. Stop kidding yourself saying private school is any harder than the rest.

Wayzata is harder than a lot of schools, and I know that there are some private schools that are harder than Wayzata.

I wouldn't doubt it is harder.

150k a year isn't out of the question for someone with some experience. When I was looking at going into engineering, I was pretty much guaranteed 50-60k per year right out of school

That is my point. You have to be a top engineer to make 200k. I'm sure General Motors recruits the top engineers, especially to compete with the Asians.

And I don't care what school you go to, High School is not hard. College is not hard (I'm starting my senior year and haven't broken a sweat). All you have to do is pay attention and do the work. Depending on how intelligent you are, you don't even have to do that very much. Hell, I barely try and still average a 3.5 cumulative GPA
