Well, I do know from my experience that when I was in HS I did think it was hard at times, certain classes at least, most weren't but some were. That is until you get into college though and things get much harder and you realize HS was easy. I would have to assume you hit the same reality once you get done with college and hit the real world, but I don't know yet.
yeah real world isn't much fun. it's the same routine, wake up, go to work, random shit, bed ... and then do it all over again.
Your smart people and athletes go there. Robin Williams, Chris Webber and some executive in Microsoft went there among others.
I'm getting that somewhat in the summers with the internships I've had the past 2 years, but those were internships, you are allowed to screw up and slack more. Plus, while I have to pay rent for a house up at school and car payments, I am still covered by my parents if need be, but once I'm in the real world I will have to learn to manage money. I have $50,000+ in student loans and it scares the shit out of me thinking about having to pay those back along with car payments, rent and food and whatever else I will have. I am not looking forward to it.
same. all the people I knew who were older so going through BBHS helped so much. They all said it was harder and more time consuming than college.
Maybe for a year or 2, I had it really easy for my first 2 years of college, basically a review from high school, but after that it rapes you.
yeah those bills blow. Always keep money saved for a "rainy day"... wished i would have had some extra cash. I messed up on my online bill pay stuff and did a double payment on accident. Sallie mae says it could take up to 2 weeks for the refund.. while my account sits at -$700 =/
