Weird smell

Awesome, thanks for putting up with my noobness. I have a cheap *** dmm, I'll check that all out tomorrow.
It just seems wierd, the gain was at like 1/8th on the kenwood amp, thats when it started stinking, then when I put it on the infinity, it was at around 1/5th to 1/6th the way up.. but whatever, Ill check it tomorrow.

quite possibly a wiring problem with the sub, check that before you start wondering why it isnt performing well with the gains set properly

most use 50hz or so , but it isnt too important, from my understanding and previous experiences

I was gonna check that today, but had to go run out somewhere before I could. I'm almost positive the sub is a dual 2 ohm wired to 4 ohms, since the kenwood does 460 RMS @ 4 ohms. I'll still take it out tomorrow and see if there's anything I straight up fried.
