weird problem with elec./insides...

ok, so I just hooked up a kx2500.1 to my hdc4 12 and when i turn up the volume and sub level my insides go out or make a crackel noise, and when i say turn up the vol maybe say 18 (out of 62) my insides are on hu and not a amp, any idea of what this could be? no voltage drop under mid 13's....

anybody had this happen to them before?

ok, got it to quit doing it by adjusting the hz on amp what should this be set too? hu does 50,63,80,100,120 amp goes from 50 - 200 at the moment both are set to 50.... any feedback on what this should be set too????

no highpass, but think it was cuz the amp was set to 100hz and the hu was 50hz... its not doing it any more but that was weird never had it do that before!!! just set amp to 50hz...

Low pass ~60 or so is where I'd put it. But that's my taste.

If your'e running the LPF on your HU - Turn that shyt all the way up on your amp, if you want to set it on your amp - Then turn the HU's LPF OFF - Use either/or - Don't run them both at the same time...

my sh1t is slammin' lol, but I can't turn off on hu, got a el cheapo in there is goes... 50hz,63,80,100,125... lol no on no off.....

I'd set it as high as you can on the head unit and set the low pass on the amp where you want it, I use a general rule of thumb of 80 Hz

I set mine at 80 for HPF and 80 for LPF
