weird problem on 2 seperate ported boxes

well i just realized it today i have 2 5.2cubic feet boxes for 15in. l7's. they are seperate but in order to wire it to one ohm i had to end up drilling a hole in each box on the sides facing each other to run the wires through to the other.

and now i realized i forgot to silicone the 2 holes up around the wires and when i push down on one sub the other slightly moves. Should i seal those 2 holes up asap?

It won't make a huge difference and you're not hurting anything now. It's really about convenience.
