weird problem... Long bass note hits when I shut my door

Your CA shop guy was right. Unfortunately the switch is the only thing that will fix that if you don't want to trade out hu's. Or a relay on the amp turn on, a bit of a hassle though if you ask me. As far as why it only happens when your door shuts i'm not sure, that could be anything. What is your amp turn on lead wired to? an ACC fuse?
A relay is a hassle? It's 4 wires...

got the same problem 08 focus with stock h/u after radio and car off if i open the door i get the bass note, moved and changed wire confige now i can open the door but cant turn off h/u i get the noise

Because the problem is caused by the amp and input signal turning on and off at different times. A relay would delay the amp turn on signal so that the amp does not turn on unless the radio is on.
A way to be sure this is your problem is to get in the car with it on and the radio on like normal, then turn the radio completely off (leave everything else on) slam your door again. If the rumble happens, The time differential is your problem. and you need a switch or relay.
I know what a relay does, and how to wire them, but that isn't the problem. He's not getting a thump when turning on/off radio, only when closing the doors. However, he does mention that 20 seconds after the car is off it will stop, so maybe? always a possibility I guess. If you wanted to wire a relay you could connect 85 - radio accessory, 86 - ground, 30 - amp turn on wire (cut), 87 - 12v. This would turn the amp on/off along with the radio, eliminating the delay...

I'm curious if you're getting bass notes with the car running, while playing music? I would slam the door and check if it's still happening then.

I'm 95% positive it's because your amp is still drawing current through the amp turn on when the radio is off. That's what it would do, turn off in like 20 seconds.

He most likely has his amp turn on wired to a 12+ source which has a time delay function on it when turning off the ignition. This happens in like 70% of the stock HU installs i've seen.
