weird noise with FI Q. Box problem?

Hey, I have an FI Q 12 in a box that is 2.2 cubic feet tuned to 30 hz. But when it hits ceratin notes it makes a noise like there's a rock or something bouncing around in there. that's the best way i can describe it. It doesn't sound like it's bottoming out, what could it be?

That would be my guess also.

Pop in some test tones and does it do it at low hz's? I bet it does it @ higher hz's around 60hz or so. My MT did that 2 until I put some felt on the cone.

it could be just speaker wire rattling. the piece of wire thats in the box...it could be bouncing around.
