ok about a week after i got my 2 type r's and my zx1500.1 installed in my car i started smelling a weird burning noise from the back and i went to check it out and it was coming from the fuse thats in the back (i have one in the front and one in the back for the amp) so i looked at it and the fuse was burned at the middle but not blown yet. so i go ahead and buy a new fuse thinking a probably need a new one. ive had the new one for about a week ago. my old fuse was 150 amps and now my new one is 250 amps

what is making that smell and how do i stop it?

Never (NEVER) increase the size of a fuse to correct a burning fuse.

Thats a receipe for a short and a potential fire.

Now about your burning fuse, did you set your gains correctly so that you arent clipping the amp and drawing too many amps through the power wire?
