No I am talking about one for my car, thanks. Could you recommend any one in particular or what are the pros and cons of a pioneer vs alpine? I've read a lot of good reviews for the alpine 9857 but then I read one saying its possible that they fry your ipods? Any truth to that?

People on here will swear by their Pioneer Premier 880prs and that it's got one of the best, if not the best, Ipod controlability.

what ipod reciever are you talking about? are you talking about the brain modules for the alpine and pioneer?

lmfao who told you they fried your ipods? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif anyways the new alpine has the best ipod interface i have ever used. the kca-422i is absolute tits. it's full-speed, it's cheap, and easy to use. the alpine decks don't offer much processing so that is why i got an external processor. i have the 9856 which is basically the 9857 without the biolite display.

I read it in one of the reviews and just wanted to know if any one else experienced that. I think I will stick with getting the Alpine sounds like it is faster then any others out there. Thanks!
