weird noise from sub

Hi guys I have an Alpine E class 12 inch sub connected to a Sony Xplod 1000 watt amp. I just finished mounting both of them in the back of my car, and now that I have everything rewired, my sub makes a weird high pitched humming noise when its on. Its pretty quiet, and it isn't affected by the music volume or the bass settings. It didn't make this humming noise before it was mounted (I've owned it for a while). Any ideas?

EDIT: When I mounted it, I did have to unhook and rehook all the wiring back up, but as far as I know I did everything correctly.

sounds like RCA problem. mine does that and its becuz my kenwood HU is goin out

Yeah I was told that its called ignition noise (especially cause when I start the car, the humming gets higher pitched as my rpms go up). I checked the ground on my amp on both sides and it seems fine. I also checked the power wire on both battery and amp side and it seems fine too. Could it be the wiring on the sub itself?
