FI BL (noob questionz)

yes, more power will be drawn at 1 ohm then 4 ohm...more at .5 ohm then 1 ohm. And so on like that...
i think thats what you were asking?
yeah, thanks a lot. so it'd be somewhat cheaper to get the dual 2 instead of the dual 1?

i think d2 would be the best choice for one sub, so you can run at 1 ohm...i dont know much about the BL, but i believe fully loaded they can handle 2k
okay, now, how do you hook up a sub to amp at a certain ohm. i really don't understand ohm and impedance yet. :\ i apologize for my ignorance..

At 1 ohm, pushin 2k watts is a lot for an electrical system, your going to need to upgrade a few things...
most definitely a batt i would presume? or 0g and a big three u think would do the job?
What kind of vehicle? and do you know the stock alt size? It would most likely be fine in a bigger truck or car with a decent alt. but in a little honda with a 60 amp alt it might not do so hot...

its an 03 civic.. :\ sedan.

If your getting the sub fully loaded i wouldnt give it more than 1500wrms daily, it might take 2000rms but its gonna smell funny and heat up alot when playing for a while. Also for 1500-2000rms do the big 3 and use 1/0 and add 1 big battery or 2 smaller batteries.
