weird laptop noise

whenever i close or open my laptop, i always hear this noise. it looks like its coming from where the screen meets the actual laptop part. any way to fix this? when you close it slowly, it sounds like someone is shooting paintballs.

I just got it last christmas. Worth it to get it fixed?
