Connecting a laptop without an aux

Thanks! I’m not exactly sure what this is / how it would work though. Any chance you could give me a quick overview?

It looks like you unplug the harness in the back of the radio and plug it into this then plug this into the radio where you removed the connector. Now you would have a stereo input to the radio.
