weird issue

I have 12inch d-2 L7 in a box tune to 32hZ, I have my sub wired down to 1ohm. ON my dmm it says 1.5 or so.I have a sundown 1200d with 4 ga power wire and a 150 anl fuse upfront. the sub sonic is around 34 Hz and there is no bass boost on.I had the sub on another amp that was sending around 300rms at 4ohms with no issue.Now that im at 1 ohm on my new amp and with my gain alittle past half way i can smell the voice coils burning.I lowerd the gain and im getin the same issue.i just put the sub at 4 ohms on the sundown amp. i did not check that yet.I want to know if there is anything i can do to see what is cuzing this sub not to b able to take 700rms?

could it b the power wire, i mean 4 ga with a 150 amp anl could that b a issue? i know the amp is pulling some juice. i blew a 100 amp fuse in like 20 secs.

did you set the gain with a DMM or just put it wherever you think is right?

it's the sub for sure. the sub is now at 4 ohm sounding good. the coils are on there way outz

well one set of coils is all over the place. i have a d-2 sub i wired it to 4 ohms but it reads 3.2ohms. i guess i need a new sub , even my amp was geting hot along with the su when i pulled it out of the box.

im tryin, i want Keiths sub but im tryin to have some bass for now. stupid sub man no matter what i try to do the sub is shoot.
