weird issue

Earlier today i went to one of my friends house. When i turned they key to turn my car off, it sounded as if the car had turned off for a very very brief second then started right back up on its own. i literally had the keys out of the ignition and everything was still running like it was cranked up. That was weird so i tried to crank it up and it made the noise it makes when its already started. Then when i go to turn the car off again, it stops running but the cd player is still on and both my amps was still turned on.

Now i kinda figured out the problem. It has something to do with my system. Im sure one of my wires is touching in the back but i quite dont know which amp is causing the problem. My box slid a little and im not sure if it pulled a wire or what, but soon as i pushed the box back up in the orignal position i had it in, my cd player finally cut off and everything was right. I looked in the back and noticed my g/f had pushed my seats up and my comp amp wasnt mounted down or anything. So i thought that was the problem. My sub amp is mounted to the side of my enclosure. So after i put the seat back down like i had it, everything was cool. I let me friend drive my truck up a hill to pick up his lil girl and when he got back he said the problem started again. Kinda weird because i know my comp amp couldnt have shift that much, it was dark so i couldnt see if a wire was loose. I opend my hatch and noticed the box slid again, im assuming when he was riding up/down the hill. So i pusehd it back to the orignal spot and the cd player cut off again.

Everything is fine now. Tomorrow im getting some L shaped brackets and mounting the box down and checking all my wires and probably will mount my comp amp back on the side of the box also. But im just wondering what could cause my car to keep fully running that has to do with my system. Im assuming a loose remote wire could be touching something but im lost. I wish i had enough light to go work on fixing the problem now but figured i'd ask here first to see if anyu of u have encountered this problem before

The people still awake probably didn't want to read the full thing, I know i didnt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif. Tomorrow be ready for people to be posting.

Somehow your constant power is getting crossed with your vehicle's ignition circuit. Normally I'd say it's not possible for that to happen in the amp wiring but I guess anything is possible. What is your remote wire connected to?

lol, i tried not making it long but i was confused and got a little carried away. Ok i just came from outside and it seems to be the remote wire going into my sub amp. I wiggled it at the insert point where it goes into the amp and both my amps turned on and my cd player.

When i get back from chuch imma take out my headunit and see exactly where my remote wire is connected too. My friend installed the cd player for me while i was hooking up the amps in the back. He could have accidently screwed something up. But would that be possible for your system to work 2 weeks straight then all of a sudden decide to stay on when you want it off if it was a remote wire issue coming from the headunit? and it was weird that when i wiggled it at the end right where it goes into my sub amp it started to act up again...but not when i tried it with my comp amp. oh well

For those of u who care, i think i may have fixed the problem. I noticed my remote wire had a slit in the pastic exposing wiring. And the power wire going to my amp had 1 tiny string that didnt get fully shaved off or covered up and it was angled down. So im pretty sure that was causing the problem...If not then atleast i noticed something that may have caused future problems.
