wats the best o gauge wire for 2 alpine mr m2000??

im looking into getting to alpine mr m2000 and was looking at the knu dual amp install kit but was wondering if there was a better kit out there so i get the best out of my system??

I like my knu wire. I got the CCA. I have also used some stinger 1/0 before and it was pretty good but as far as bang for you buck you cant really go wrong with knu.

yea thats wat i thought cus i had a db link 2 gauge before wen i still had my truck and it was clear but wanted to upgrade and want to do it right the first time

According to knu's site, their 1/0 OFC has a max load of 375A. 4000w / 12.8v (assuming you're dropping down to battery voltage) is 312A. At a 14.4v alternator charge, you are drawing 277A. Considering music is very dynamic and chances are you will probably never be actually drawing 300A+ at a given point I think you would be fine with just a single run of OFC. Though if you want to play it safe you can always purchase 2 runs of the KCA and not worry about reaching the wire's limits.

yea i was also thinking of doing the big 3 upgrade wen i get my new truck and umgrading the bat to a optima but wasnt realy sure if thats 2 risky or not cus i realy dont wana kill my truck.

i was also looking into the cadence daytona 12 inch 4 ohm subs didnt know if they would work with the alpine without blowing them or not??

Those daytona's appear to be rated at 1500W, so I doubt those alpines will overpower them.

as for sub i'd look at the dc level 4 or 5 or the ascendant line .ofc wire is better , doesn't matter who makes it really .what i look at is how many strands in the wire.more the better

Not always. Welding wire has a very low strand count but is very good to use, power wise at least. Flexibility, not so much.

thanks for the help really apreciate it cus wen i first put in my first system is wasnt well installed but it was allright and now my gf has my subs so it gave a a chance to upgrade and do it right now
