low voltage

I have a 275amp nation alt, big 3 and good battrie 800cca and my truck runs and i let of the gas the rpms go down and the voltage drops alot like the lights dim almost like there is no battrie and its jump started but the battrie is brand new, the altnator went into the stock mounting area could it be the belt leagth still?

this is when the subs arnt even on, and when i go to press the brakes the voltage drops

could be a bad battery, bad alt, or like u said is the belt tight

I would take your vehicle to Orielys/Autozone,and get them to test the battery,and then get them to test it with a load on it..its free.Go from there
