welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy your time here. I understand that you ask your question in regards to space limitations in the cab of your truck but outside of needing somewhere to mount it (hence your question, I assume) an amplifier needs to be matched to the speakers it is intended to provide amplification to.

Ergo: You're not going to want to run a set of 4" coaxials off of a 2500 watt monoblock. Bad things can happen quickly. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

So - to be better able to answer your question what speakers are you needing to amplify? Model numbers would be greatly helpful if you have them.

Pyle and Pyramid are by far not the greatest of the entry-level budget amps. My suggestion is to stay as far from those as possible. My personal feelings about Lanzar would automatically lump them into the same category as the other two but I hear good things about Lanzar's Opti line of amps and as I have no personal experience with them I'll have to say I haven't a clue about them so ask someone who knows better.

for subs that i didnt pick out yet cause i dont really no wat the ------ im doing and wow this is the best forum i was on yet most of the other forums take days to weeks a reply

Well - you need to make a decision on one or the other, to tell the truth.

If the amp gets purchased first then you'd need to get subs that will give you the best performance off of whatever level of available power you have to give them.

If you go the other route and get the subs first then you'd want to match them with an amp that outputs appropriate power (which will be dependant on the specific subs and how much power they want to perform adequately...you wouldn't want to try and power a Diamond Audio D9 15" sub off of 150 watts and expect great results) for whatever drivers you purchased.

So you're in a bit of a Catch 22. You need to make a concrete decision on one or the other before we can really be of any help to you.

CA.com the best forum you've been to thus far? Where else have you been? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

alrightly wat would u say a good size amp for that small space that will make it hop
18" X 18" square space?

That actually leaves options somewhat wide open. Lemme have a look around and see if I can find dimensions on some things and I'll get back with you. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

you still need another dimension WxLxH to come up with cubic feet. and to answer your question it would be help full to know how loud you want it, budget, music you listen to. then it will be easier recommend an amp or a sub

so youll probably want a 10" or 12" sub. if you dont mind buying a used amp your $200 will get you more power, but i would say that any amp that does 500-1000 should make you happy depending on your sub. look in classifieds for amps and im sure you can find a good amp in your price range.
