Stepping it back up to the 1500D!

I am currently running 1 type r with a niche audio 1000 watt amp. Dont get me wrong it hits pretty hard but the diected audio 1500D SLAMMED. It was jsut to **** hard to tune and i had problems with it, and the niche was so easy to tune and hit good. But i think i am gonna step it back up what do you guys think?
