Wanting low end monsters

So I'm in the process of piecing together a stereo. I brought some w6 v2 12s off a guy dirt cheap. Haven't used them yet, but I hear they are top class at sound quality and low end. Maybe I should stick with them? Ran into a little money and want much more power for that skull cracking bass. I've heard the Sundown x 12s on decent power tuned low are foolish. Then I can get dss ethos which I hear probably top the other two in both categories. What's my best bet?

I can vouch for the Sundown X series....they're made to play low, really low. Lower than most subs on the market.

How low will determine box size, and port length.

What excatly are you going to play?Unless you are playing dumb **** tuning lower tgan around 30 unless you want the flattest response is pointless.

How much space you have?
Is it REALLY up to you what he wants or him??

Seems lately you have too many opinions about things/car audio rather than helping people out.

Reread your post jackass. Im giving him advice because he should elvatuate what he wants.. Just blurting out drivers with knowing **** isnt a good suggestion
Being a ruthless jackass and asking his space to work with shouldn't go in one sentence. For once can you think of other's instead of yourself all the time.

Helping people out on here doesn't mean you come in saying kicker ***** then leave.

Im telling him truth. Kickers arent that impressive. 10 others where helping him. I wanted him to know the truth..

I agree with paper on this

Tuning too low just gives a bump to the low end output

I used port plugs to lower my tuning a while ago and calculated 51hz tune still played down to 35hz with out any loss in output

Port plug picked up 25-35 but lost a ton in the upper end

It was a rather small box but it was decently loud through all music except c/sed and SOME decaf

Also I have Xv1's and I do love them but I think next sub choice would be more traditional sound not the ultra low distortion

More along the Zv3 or similar

How about a budget 1st before all things. This way we can determine best bang for the buck out there as there's many non mainstream brands available.

Oh and uh, don't pay any attention to papermaker.
