2017 Hyundai Accent Stereo Replacement wanting Android Auto

I am wanting to replace the stereo in my kids 2017 Hyundai Accent. Wanting one that will do Android Auto. Most of the systems I've seen on Amazon show a PAC Steering wheel controller box. The car doesn't have steering wheel controls. Do I still need this box?

I would not waste my money on the steering wheel control adapter, if your car doesn't have any. I've installed 2 systems, and the controller was not required.
