This is way too broad of a question. Its all in the install.

I guarentee some guys out there can make 1 12" sub with 500 watts or something louder then another guy can make 2 15"s with 3k watts or something (just dumb examples).

Absolutely! I have been competing since 1996 and have seen some the cheapest, nastiest systems walk away with 1st prize many times. I know becuase I have done it myself!

When I started out I was a noob and broke like most kids, but I went to every show and talked to as many pros as I could hung around local shops till they hired me lol! Then read a million mags and books on car audio, sound, 12volt electric theory.

Yea i know everything is in the install, but i dont know anything about building boxes, or how i would know what kind of box the subs need. How do i find this out?
