Like it says i want to build a big a$$ sound system in my jeep. i was thinking of going with fi, but i dont know how many subs to get. i like the bl series and i love 15"s. i have a jeep grand cherokee and the money to get whatever basically. would i be happy with the output of 2 15" bl or should i put 4 in. also what amps should i use to power and how should i setup the boxes. i was thinking of either walling off if i get 4 or just pointing all 4 straight up and prting to the back. suggestions? thanks.

If your going to go big, invest in an alternator and a couple batteries before you even think of a big system. That way you could run a big amp and have no electrical problems down the road.

already have electrical done. 300a h/o alt. big 3 upgrade with 1/0. and 2 kinetic 2400 in the back.

what kind of amp though? i'm fairly unfamiliar with the new ones out. i want it loud but somewhat clean too.

btw already have plexi back window and 2 layers of dynamat extreme so i'm not too worried about blowing the truck up.

Don't get me wrong, amp quality can play a big role.. But sound quality is more based upon how the enclosure is built and the subwoofer itself.

Well if money is not an option, then go big or go home, lol! I no longer like Fi with all the shit I have been through with my woofer though. Hope you have better luck than I have with them.

i think i saw a soundstream tarantula xxx 10 000D in sales for 900$..if money isnt an issues id look into that sexy looking amp..

what would you prefer over fi? i've heard great things about them but i've never personally dealt with them.

What kind of power does that push? i'm really looking into going with a 4-15" wall setup. i just want something with will knock my socks off and stun anyone who sees it. i have about $4k to spend so money really isnt a problem i just want loud.

dont get me wrong i know the btl are supposed to be mosters but they have less excursion than the bls right? if that is the case wont you get more spl out of the same sized woofer with more excursion? i may be wrong though.
