want some genuine expert advice on classical music

yeah, seriously, i am going to hit some stores today locally, and test some subs. I am sick of browsing lol. i guess, i would like to keep the sub at 100 so that i can have some money for the box. i guess if i uses cc i can spend more but i only want to use cash so i have to work around within my budget. i already spend too much in the past 3 weeks buying everything new from scratch.

Building a box will cost $30 for a sheet of 3/4" MDF and $5 for a box of screws and bottle of wood glue. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so miffit, u2 recoomment 2 12? not just one 12?

i can just buy 140ish one 12 sub and be ok no? since i don't plan on pounding my SUV.

but i like those subs. btw, i can get used type R for 50 each. u suggest type R? or they not good in sound quality.

I just recommended a pair of good subs that fit your buget. If you'd rather buy a single sub that costs twice as much that's up to you. Those MB Quart subs are really nice, though. Don't let the cheap price tag fool you. They're just an old *** design that's been sitting in a warehouse for too long and woofersetc is trying to get rid of them.

ok. i guess mb quart it is, BUT the link is for 2ohm stable and it won't work with f550, no? 4ohm stable is more expensive, 100 each as opposed to 70.

this is what i think i should go with what u guys think?
Seems kind of cheap for 2 of those. If it all works out that'd be very good for you. I'd put it in a sealed box. It'll have the flatest frequency response and you just want some low end filler, not loudness. You wouldn't even have to power those with the full 750 RMS and they'll still do the job.

um, i don't think they can take 750 rms. they are 175 rms each.
