Im glad for you but as I said I wasnt asking for advice on building. You have no idea on my cost of building anyways and as I said Im not finished and bracing hadnt been added yet because what you see if what was done over a single saturday and sunday. It will be braced when I get to that point. he doesnt even have amps or both subs yet.

you do know your shit, but i think they have it under control....we will see what they wang out on a TL and go from there.

dont expect major SPL numbers since he want a DD tuning on it instead of peaking on RF, and port area wasnt as big as I wanted it because of size contraints of running 18s and his roof.

After angle. Now tell me, how does the side of a wall move out almost a half inch if its "secured"? $5 says that the top isn't even screwed down and you guys just plastered the thing with liquid nails and figured it would be good enough.

I'm sick of this build already and the catastrophe has only just begun.

that they are planning on letting the liquid nails and the angle hold it into place

IMO...tommy is right on the bracing you guys shouldn't have used internal angles without testing unless its just toh old the roof on

also you should brace from outside the box even all thread can hurt spl numbers and you have PLENTY of room on the sides of the enclosure for 2x4s 4x4s whatever the hell you wanted to use

but i'm a noobie so continue

Tommy cant throw numbers up on the TL.

He has a point. That top needs some serious refinement.

DD tuning or not, he should be throwing up **** good numbers with two SPL 18's in a wall with 6-8kw. With that kind of power and that kind of subwoofage, I wouldnt be surprised if a single layre of MDF cracked...

Why are you so stubborn to suggestions and recommendations? I'm trying to make this build EASIER for you and get BETTER performance out of it.

It's fairly obvious that you've never tackled a build of this size before. And if you have, you obviously didn't learn anything from it. Instead of taking my posts into consideration and reevaluating things, you'd much rather say I'm stupid and say that my suggestions are worthless and that you have things "under control". From what I've seen so far with the build quality, that is hardly the case.

Good luck keeping that box together for more than a few months.

BTW, you still haven't explained why that side of the wall moved out almost a half inch if its "secure" and strong.

Why should I calm down Ive told him 5 times already I dont want his advice and he keeps shoving it down my throat. I dont care if he invented the sub himself I declined his help and he keeps pushing it. He keeps guessing on what ive done and I dont feel like confirming nor denying as I dont need to prove my build to him.
