Oh and the "G" shirt is pimpin btw.
Does that make him Kenny G?

how many cubes is the walll...and arent you tuning this thing low?
Big and low yes

I love me some Ridgid HC Drills, and I see you guys do too!
nG
I found them to have as much torque as the dewalts and run just as long battery wise for half the price. I want to get the cordless reciprocating saw too but havent seen it sold by itself and dont need another drill.

It seems like it would be pretty top heavy. I like what you did.
How is it secured to the back?

I like how it is more of a large box, but it seems like you have alot of dead space between the back of the wall and the seatback.

I might do something like this.
threaded rod and lag bolts FTW

Also, how do you secure the top?
It looks like it would be a better deal to make the inside piece .75 shorter so it can glue on two sides and might a little more secure.
top is very secure dont worry about it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif amazing what can be done with hidden screws

x2. Or is that all the space you couldve fit? And how many sq.in. is the port area?
space wasnt needed for the application and this made the box have less angles for sound to bounce off of.

What does the fiberglass inside the box help with?
resin is to seal out the MDF seal the pores in the wood and seal the corners.

chopped mat is because the holes are so big on the baffle I didnt want anything cracking from the heavy *** subs.

Not too shabby, but will wait till final pics to give final judgement. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Also I always thought Ruckus was a skinny runt that looked like a Mexican, lol!

Well I am big too and can lift Full size sheets of MDF. I am 250 and 5'11". So I would think he could do more than that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If he was doing anything besides bassrace I would but not worth it with a low tuned box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif my box on the other hand is gonna be for SPL burps only not even using it for daily driving //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Should have used wood glue.

The progress looks good though, hopefully it's loud. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif If not, plan on me making fun of you until you get it loud.

I usually do use titebond but not when your building something in place and need it to dry quickly. liquidnail wont break off anyways. The MDF will give before the seal //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Not true actually. I've made a box out of liquid nails before and I could break it apart just at the joints. The liquid nails didn't bond the wood at all. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

well thats you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif you probably used that special TCAB particle board too. I got it under control. No need for advice. If this box breaks apart its cause he totalled his car and flipped it.
