Justin what would u knwo about building a wall?don't worry about it guys, first time he turns it on and the roof comes loose and breaks, or the "very strong fiberglass baffle" breaks let it be on them
they obviously know it all so when they get done and it does a 148 let it be on them
im pretty sure your beating a dead horse. if you care to have a serious competitor in 3-5 years keeping dbdrag up and coming still.....IM kennethrpollock on aim.Justin what would u knwo about building a wall?

Kenny honestly, this isnt your fault, they shouldnt be mad at you over this. And if they are, they arent true friends/teammates. IMO.Mods please delete this thread, I have no problems with criticism but my teammates are mad at me over it. The wall will get done, I will do it myself with no support. And the only time you guys will see it is when someone from a show posts pics or when you see me at World Finals at the end of the season.

People was just sugguesting stuff, I mean this is a forum. But if they like what there doin, I wouldnt worry about what the "forum" thought. Its all up to you.
The VERY first thing I would do, to make that whole box infinitely stronger, would be to tear out those angles and add another layer to the top, on the inside. That way you could screw the side walls IN TO a top layer, and then screw that 2nd layer to the top layer, pulling it down tight. We were planning on doing X braces on the outside walls since we had space. I don't remember the edges looking as bad as those pics, I coulda swore they lined up better. As of now the top piece sits into the back piece but only on top of the sides. In hindsight, I think it might have worked better to make the outside side piece taller so and the top shorter so that it could have sat on the inside side piece and we coulda screwed the outside side piece into the top, if that made any sense rofl. Like what Tommy said. I have never claimed to know everything about doing this shit rofl, but for a first one I think it turned out pretty good. The 45's are screwed into the sides and top in all corners pulling it down onto the sides and closing the gap tight with the liquid nails. Plus the 2 front baffles will screw into the top, so I think it should hold well. There's no way we're getting a drill on top of the box to screw it down though. If it ends up ******* that bad, he can just saw it apart and unbolt it and pull it out.
