Alright, I understand WHY Mario (Ruckus) said not to post this... because everyone went from YO THATS SO PHAT YO to WTF IS THAT GOOD LUCK HITTING A 140 YO in two seconds. Tommyk and I spoke after this thread's active streak tonight, and he offered some great suggestions. I was mad at Mario for being mad at me and we're both hard-headed anyways.
Mario is an awesome enclosure builder, so for anyone that doubts his work, numbers will prove you wrong my friends. I'm going over Mario's tomorrow morning to heat up the resin, remove the 45 degree angle cuts near the top, putting another sheet of MDF to the top (WITH LIQUID NAILS and screws) and reattaching the 45s.
We will eventually be reinforcing the wall with 2x4s on the outside, no doubt. This is a wall log, it is in no way finished. Why did that side piece move from the top? Honestly because we sort of rushed things and the Liquid nails in no way set completely before we started screwing 45s into it.
Instead of flaming guys, why not offer suggestions or just waiting for more progress? You guys want to see build pics, but what you guys are doing is encouraging me to leave the camera at home and just take pictures when it's all done. Do you really want that? I know I love me some good worklogs.
