Thanks for the input guys! I'm seriously thinking about making the 3" ports 4" but i want to know for sure that it will be worth the time i'll spend cutting out new holes, and re-spraying carpet.. What do you all think??

Flared ports? Never heard of um..

I could do a slot port but I would have to rebuild the actual wall because there is two peices split down the middle.. Had to make 2 to fit it in.. I think my only option would be to just make them 4" ports..
