WAAY to many amp options for my system...opinions please!!

Alright here it goes...

Basically, I need a 2 channel amp that does 500-700x1 bridged@4ohms, and a 2 or 4 channel amp that does 100-175x2@4ohms.

So I have been thinking....do I want to go old school or new school?

Old school options:

PPI Art Series

Soundstream (old) Rubicon

Soundstream reference

New School options:

Orion

Kenwood Excelon

MTX Thunder (2004)

US acoustics

Soundstream Van Gogh

Diamond Audio D5 series

Kicker KX

I know that is a pretty huge list.

I am leaning towards the old Soundstream Rubicon series because:

a)I can get them brand new in the box

b)They would match pretty close to my really old Soundstream d100II and d60 amps.

I know this is a lot to go through, but I was just hoping that you guys could give me some opinion as to what you think.

Go with the Rubi's......great amps. The Art's would be excellent aswell, but will cost you more.

If you wanted to go new school, the DSP on the Kicker SX series is supposed to be pretty awesome.

Where can you get the Rubi's BNIB from? I had two BNIB 302's...kick myself in the butt for selling them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Still have a 702 though, and would LOVE to find a 1002

I still have the mc245 in my car! Now that is a good amp!

I was just checkin out the old kicker ZR series. From what I read...those amps rock!..

i personally like the soundstream option.. very reliable amp... very durable as well.. good sounding to boot.. can handle the loads u put on it
