Voltage still droping

Heres the set up:

Stock Alt-Big 3- D34 up front-2 runs of 0guage to the back - D31 yallow top in the back-2 0guage grounds- Orion 2500D @ 2 ohms. 2 SX15's and using 150amp fuses.

Problem- voltage still drops into the high 11s on some songs. any way to keep it in the 12s or higher? I know on thing is a new alt, but i might be getting a new truck soon so i dont want to waste the money. anyone?

x2, sounds like an alternator problem to me. you could try using a second battery, but that would just add more strain on the alternator. so yeah, shoot for a high-output alternator.

EDIT: Nvm the second battery thing, didn't see that originally. Reading > Me

where do you have the second battery grounded?
