Voltage problem?

I just had my first decent system installed this weekend. I am running 2 15" Orion H2's and an Orion XTR Pro 2400 (2400 watts rms). I bought a pre-fab box temporarily until I find the time to build one, but that's a whole different issue. I had 1/0 wire ran to a distribution block, with 2 4 gauge power wires going into the amp and 2 4 gauge grounds also. Also, I bought an Optima yellow top to go under the hood, but they didn't put it in because they said it was too tall and wouldn't fit, which I'm thinking is BS (95 Chevy Impala SS). I haven't done the big 3 yet either, so I'm running all this on the stock battery, stock alternator, stock big 3 (I know, I know) for now. The amp is clipping at high volumes, and I was just wondering if this is a voltage issue?

Clipping is most always a gain problem. It can be worsened by low voltage, but by definition clipping is caused by a gain setting that is too high for the input signal that causes the output to be overdriven. If it is indeed clipping, turning down the gains is the fix.
