voltage loss after big 3 ?!?

No need to look at anything else. It is the ELD. When it drops to 12.5 the alt is off
This is an experiment I would LOVE to tackle but I really don't have time to do this now. I'm studying 24/7 for my dental admission test. Would getting a better battery than that garbage power starter battery that I have help with that issue?

getting a better battery would result in a drop to 13V instead of 12.5V.

some have just had success unplugging the ELD connector and inserting the 820 ohm resistor in the plug (between the wires indicated in my diagram). Takes about 2 minutes (faster than changing a battery) and is just as effective. You don't get control or the ability to let the car save some mpg, but it will keep the alt on at all times.

do u know if VW by chance does this? some have told me that the alt id controlled by the ECU and it sometimes shut down and i drop in to the mid 13's

yes also... lol its not the safest option, i got a volt meter in my blazer and i always pay attention to it. most of the time im not running min over 1/4 of volume, well now i dont run it over 1/4 period unless i compete because i have a stronger amp then before. if you dont run a fuse i urge you to get a volt meter if you dont already have one. its not safe but you would be surprised to how many ppl dont run fuses. if you know what you wire can handle and dont try to push to much through it, i think you will be fine. like mine is mostly 2 gauge wire, HOWEVER its pure copper and its about as thick as a 1/0gauge. and the runs are only about 1.5 - 2ft at most so they will carry 250amps no problem. my big 3 is also in 2 gauge and the longest run is 1.5ft. so pretty much as long as you know what your wire is capable of you should be fine with no fuses just make sure all grounds are good.

Well idk what Happen but now it's a strong signal. My car stays between 14.4 to 14.3 volts.

With the AC on it stays between 14.1-14.2 volts.

any accidentally sliced or crimped wire not fused properly can cause your car to burn to the ground. period. fuse all power wires within a foot of the + battery post.(alt to + and + to amp)
