where are you measuring the voltage? take some pics so we can see how the batteries are wired.I have the 4500 on them at 1 ohm
you have a meter?

yeah sounds like im gna need to build another box, well at least that's the fun part!Try less port area lower tuning. Just letting you know some results with my 4 hdc318s build. Used 5 sonotubes that can be covered. At 3 opened tubes its at 10 port per cube tuned to 36.5 it plays down to 19hz with authority, no port noise. With 2 tubes open its tuned to 32hz 6 port per cube, no port noise, lost above 55hz gained more impact 19hz to 44hz. With 4 tubes open its 13.5 port per cube tuned to 40hz, I lost output overall, didnt even gain up top... wierd. With 5 open, 16 port per cube tuned to 44hz, subs stank, didnt gain at all even in the upper range. Was hoping to get a powerful burp box but i got a friggen flat response, good sound quality low end demo car instead...
12 to 16 port per cube for slots will transcribe to 9 to 13 for round ports. 8 to 12 with aeros.
they are wired correctly I always go over the wiring 2 timesI'll be that guy who points out the retarded fix... are your speakers out of phase?
I have a strong feeling its the box. Im gna build a new one and brace it even better because just 1 3/4 threaded rod thru the middle aint cutting it. single layer all aroundCF, Port area and tuning all seem to be as they should... Why no low end??? Gotta be a setting somewhere how u set gains? Even on ur power those subs should still be killing the lows.
Just because your electrical is good, that doesn't mean you can't clip!!!
I don't know what the sensitivity is on the two types of subs, but it might take more power to get louder with the AA's
That being said, they should still be decent on that power. I had my 21's on about 300 watts each and my doors flopped during the low notes:
I wired everything correctly I went over the wiring of the batteries 5 times before I even turned on the music, and yeah I have a meter I checked both batteries after they were wired and stared her up they were both at 14.9, ill post pics of the wiring laterwhere are you measuring the voltage? take some pics so we can see how the batteries are wired.you have a meter?
AA havoc 18s. I think I might just down size to sundown x 15s, maybe 4 of them. that's IF I don't get the sound I want with these 18s, I know something isn't right herewhat woofers are you using?
Yeah, when you get big into it you need more electricalsensitivity on these is 92.2.. gna wire one down to half ohm later and see what happens, if that's the case I don't even wanna run all 4 18s.. gna have to get a sh!+ ton of electrical
Maybe, but I doubt itCOULD IT BE because im also using 16 gauge speaker wire on my subs? yes, 16 gauge wire, the wire that i had on my 15s. i have 20ft of 10 gauge ofc on the way but wired them with this wire for now, could this be the problem?
you know what my set up sounds like? like some 15s stuffed into a prefab box, weak on the lows and strong on the high notes. im fkn frustratedMaybe, but I doubt it
